In-form Rose continues to bloom in the height of the Stratford Summer 6
Sarah Rose continued her good form with another fine win in the ladies’ race in a time of 37min 23sec.
Connor Carson was first home for the men, finishing seventh in 34:23 and winning the V45 prize.

Hide AdStanley Doxey was ninth in 35:25, just one of the several successes emerging from the Kenilworth Youth section.
Another was Stanley’s 16-year-old sister Bella who also had an excellent run, finishing third senior lady and counting for the Kenilworth ladies’ team with a new PB of 46:24.
There were category wins for LV65 Pauline Dable (55:10) and Dave Pettifer (41:54) who with seven first places, has now secured overall victory in the V65 category in the Warwickshire Road Race League.
There were also new six-mile PBs for Debbie Streets (46:31), Tom Williams (43:45), Colin Bailey (41:57), Elizabeth Keell (49:02) and Ryan Baker (45:24).

Hide AdTwenty-four Spa Striders made the short trip with Ste Taylor the first home in 36:29, closely followed by Pete Soley (36:58).
Adam Notley (37:06), Trevor Wilkinson (37:15), Dan Stannard (39:18) and Tom Gotts (39:21) made up the men’s team who finished in third position.
Carolyn Wilkinson led the Strider ladies home (39:27), winning the FV45 category and finishing second overall.
Susie Stannard (39:48) and Melissa Venables (41:07) were second and third in the FV35 category and third and fourth females overall, with Caroline Whitehouse (41:20) completing the first-placed women’s team.

Hide AdLeamington C&AC’s Steve Hundal continued his return to form with a time of 37:21 and 26th place, with clubmate Craig Bower 38th in 38:30.
Jenny Jeeves was C&AC’s first lady in a PB of 42:49 for third Fv45.
The race was won by Coventry Godiva’s Toby Spencer in 30:37, ending clubmate Ali Smith’s domination of the series.
Smith was second in 31:55.
